I can’t remember if it’s the iphone or a blackberry, but I’ve heard of apps you can download that allow you to scan barcodes for pricing and all this that and the other. But what if you need to scan barcodes and you don’t own either of those? You buy a barcode scanner!! The ls2208 is extremely usable and durable, perfect for anything you might need it for

One of my many duties at work is to keep up with our office supplies and make orders to Office Depot when we need anything. For the most part I dislike this task because I get sick of hearing people say “we need this” “we need that” especially when I’m aware of what we need (duh). However, recently I’ve found a little joy in it because Office Depot sends out small catalogs with “FREE GIFTS! when you spend $xxx” So, what have I done? I’ve started collecting these catalogs and choosing which free gift I’d like. Yesterday I had one for MP3 players, so what did I do? I ordered myself a free mp3 player along with the rest of our office supplies.

Heck yeah!

I went to visit my brother and sister-in-law this weekend and we got on the topic of a shooting that happened at Chuck E. Cheese near my house a few years ago. My SIL asked if we had home security systems and I laughed and said no, we just have four dogs.

I say four because we made the mistake of telling Vernon’s sister we would take care of her dog for a little while. She is super skinny and needs some love, so we’re going to get her healthy and find her a new home (hopefully with their aunt.)

I have something very embarassing to admit… the exterior shutters on one of our windows at home completely fell off about to years ago. And… we never put it back. I just wonder how many people actually notice it, because I don’t. But I also live there and see the house every day, it’s kinda like when you lose weight but can’t really tell by looking at yourself. You usually know by either the scale, your clothes being too big, or other people complimenting you on your weight loss.

I’m only 23, so honestly I’m not exactly educated when it comes to anti wrinkle serum, but I really hope that I don’t have to be at any point in my life. I know that people age and become old, and in my opinion I think that makes people beautiful. You get wrinkles because you have aged, learned, and lived life. Every scar is a sign of a victorious battle. I have a huge red scar going across my belly, along with some ugly ass stretch marks, but when I see them, I think of how I carried my daughter in my stomach for as long as I could. And even though it wasn’t long enough, she is alive, well and healthy. And also absolutely adorable. Like seriously the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

Hopefully I’m not that bad off!

If there’s anything I know about my body, it’s that I need to take better care of it. I have been dying to get a treadmill after having little one, but spending such a large amount of money really bothered me, so I didn’t exactly look into purchasing one. However, we were recently given a treadmill and workout gym system for free so I feel like it fell into our lap, I could not be more excited. The only problem is that I think I may need shoes meant for running or an actual joint supplement. I walked two miles this week and the next day my knees were absolutely killing me. I know that skate board shoes are not meant to walk/run in, so I’m going to try a pair of running shoes before I start taking supplements.

I am SO SO SO glad it is Friday!! This week work has been absolutely treacherous. Four times a year we produce a magazine full of industry related mumbo-jumbo that I honestly don’t know much about, other than the fact that it is painful. We have so much to do on a normal day that it is hard for anyone to fit in extra work making our deadlines impossible to meet without working a million hours. Lets just say that my dark eye circles have been on full blast this week when normally I don’t even notice them.

Thankfully there was lots of help this week and we met our deadline, but sometimes, especially now that I have a baby that I miss 24/7… I just want to crawl in a hole and cry rather than work a 60 hour week.

In my experience, the best acne pill has been the birth control pill. I don’t know if all birth control pills help clear up acne, but I know that many do and sometimes women are prescribed the pill specifically to clear up their acne. I don’t really have much acne anymore, but when I was younger and first started Lo-Ovral, it cleared it right up.

I know I mention it a lot, but birth control pills really are a miracle medication. There are often reverse side effects, such as the time I was on Yaz, I went totally crazy, but once you find the right one for you… it is really a blessing to have!

Testosterone is a hormone, that well, for the most part, makes a man a man. In the case that you are a female transitioning to the male sex, testosterone boosters may be of much help to you. I absolutely cannot imagine the internal struggle a transgendered person must go through. Knowing that your outside does not match who you are on the inside.

I don’t normally watch The Real World (on MTV) anymore because it’s become super lame, but a few seasons ago they had a female who had completed her sexual reassignment. I did watch that season because it was just insane to me, to see this person struggle with something not many other people do.
