Celebrities in Rehab

I just love shows involving drugs and addicts. A little pitiful, I’m aware but it is a very intersting subject to me. My current favorite, aside from Intervention — who only airs new episodes when they feel like it — is Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. I promise it’s not just because I have a very scary crush on Dr. Drew Pinksy, WOOooo doggy.

Seems like most of the celebrities are just washed up retards who I’ve never heard of before with the exception of Brigitte Neilson (my absolute favorite, what a nice lady) and Chyna doll. I guess they’re just as washed up as the rest but I’ve actually heard of them before.

Chyna is in a bit of denial because she claims not to be an addict and she won’t even admit that she is addicted to legal steroids, but Shawn says that’s because the WWF (or whatever it’s called now) won’t allow its wrestlers to admit to any sort of steroid use. Which is just ridiculous cause HELLO, have you heard this woman speak lately? Have you SEEN HER?

The celeb that gets the smallest amount of air time is some chick from Family Matters who claims to be addicted to pot, which really is just a laughing matter.

I N T E R V E N T I O N

Intervention is one of my favorite shows. I’m very happy to see that new episodes are coming out, but I’m a little bitter about the fact that it’s new night is Monday. I’m always stuck at work on Mondays, always. They show reruns at about midnight though, I think, so all hope is not lost.

If you haven’t seen it, friends and families of addicts get together and basically tell said addict that they have to go to drug rehabilitation, that they will not continue to support their drug habits. It’s very bitter sweet.

breakfast in bed… mmm

I have never been to a Bed and Breakfast but Tori Spelling’s Inn Love looked like a nice place to go. It would also be fun to have your own B&B if it didn’t require like… interacting with the guests. I don’t really care what you want to do or where you want to go, do it by yourself.

That Inn Love show was alright when Tori wasn’t wining about every thing under the sun. She was also really bloated from being pregnant and annoying to look at. Boy, aren’t I just a ray of sunshine today!

True Life: I’m an idiot

It seems to be a common theme for True Life to follow around a bunch of dumbasses with cameras. Why do people get on this show, knowing they are being filmed and act like complete immature idiotic morons? It really drives me crazy how most of these people act, and it seems like it never fails.

I saw an episode with sisters who acted like they completely hated each other, then came back for another episode to pretty much clarify that they looked really retarded with they way they treated one another. Now I’m watching an episode about summer flings and I swear this chic is the most high strung paranoid woe is me teen in the world.

Friends don’t let friends look dumb on television!

Rock of Love

Rock of Love definitely caught my attention as soon as it aired. I’ve seen every episode without fail and I am so very ready for the reunion tonight!

I’m sad to see it go though, it’s been the one show that I’ve managed to not miss in a looong time. It’s hard for me to “have shows” these days, I’m not sure why but it’s really irritating. They come and go so fast.

Cops remove trespassers

I was looking for something to watch on tv just now when I discovered there is an episode of cops on where they are in my town and it has made my day. It’s pretty hilarious.

They are speaking with a man and woman who were in some sort of fight I’m not sure over what when the man tells the cop that he’s been married to the bitch 3 times, and that she has been married 7 times!! Who in the hell gets married 7 times?

I’m really tired, but I need to get some work done… but there are 2 more episodes of Cops, Nashville coming on. I don’t know if I can allow myself to miss it.

My obsession

Scrubs is absolutely my favorite show as of late. I don’t know if it’s that I find Zach Braff absolutely mesmerizing or if it’s just that good of a show (it is!).. I guess it’s just a mixture of the two. It’s really hilarious while still having a good moral strung somewhere in there, which is what a lot of shows these days lack. Please, let me watch something that makes me feel good about life, because I tell you what, I’m feeling pretty low.

I feel like on a personal level this show has taken over Seinfeld’s spot in the grand scheme of things. Seinfeld was once my favorite show, but then again there weren’t really any hot guys to lust after. I still like it though, I guess after seeing every episode about 300 times it just left me wanting more.

Yeah, that’s right. I just blogged about Scrubs… AGAIN.
