I would love to have this as a poster to hang in my home, but I think saving it on my phone will do for now

Everyone needs a laptop!
I really love having a laptop computer, I’m not sure how people get by without having one. Since my doctor put me on bedrest it has been a lifesaver. I don’t even have to leave my couch and I still get paid!
I also think it is awesome that cellphone providers are now offering wireless cards that allow you to stay connected to the internet anywhere. I would have LOVED to have this option when I was working at a group home. That job was stressful and I always felt so disconnected from everyone.
Playstation
My friend Adam came up from Florida last weekend and it was soo good to see him! I met him through my ex-boyfriend (who put me through hell due to his drug addiction) so I’ll say it is nice to still have him as a friend after everything that went down.
He joked that he finally got a PS2 as if it were some kind of new technology. I’m surprised by how much the price on the Playstation 2 has come down. I’m actually considering getting one for the living room (our Nintendo Wii is in the den) for a little something to play when I get bored.
Shawn will probably tell me we don’t need one, and in all honesty we don’t. But when has that ever stopped me?
Uncomfortable without it

My USB flash drive is probably one of the handiest things that I own and it lives right on my keychain. I use it for work and tons of other things because you never know when you’ll randomly need it for something.
I think it would be really awesome if one day flash drives were as big as an external hard drive. That would RULE, it may be far from possible but you never know! I recommend that everyone have a flash drive, big or little. When I first started college it was recommended that we have one, and back then they were pretty expensive for the tiniest amount of space. Now I think they’re really affordable, I think mine was 30 or 40 dollars for 2gigs. Awesome!
upgrading?
Late last night I was on iChat with Les and she wondered if she could find an affordable Macintosh on Ebay as cheap as the one she found for her boyfriend. We searched and searched and it seemed as though anything within her price range would definitely need to be upgraded with laptop memory. I had an Apple iBook g4 and I remember installing memory into it and it was fairy easy, which is surprising. I’m sure when they were built they took upgrades into consideration and constructed it so that you could easily do so.
I love my macbook to pieces, it runs great and fortunately I don’t need to upgrade it with anything. I would LOVE to get my hands on Mac OS Leopard though, I’m still running Tiger. I don’t know why I haven’t budgeted to get it yet, I think it’s pretty affordable considering it’s an operating system. I guess I’m just used to applications having ginormous price tags (ie: any adobe software, lol).
Not near as bad as my brother, I swear.

I am very, very excited. Last night at 2am I decided to go ahead and order myself a Blackberry Curve. I already have a Pearl, but the keyboard just isn’t doing it for me. I can’t STAND IT. Half the time my messages and texts are so full of typos that they don’t make sense. Despite what my brother says, suretype is hard. Well, I don’t guess it’s hard, perhaps I’m just lazy. It is SO annoying to be typing a message to someone only to go back and see that there are four words mispelled. Do you know how annoying it is to go all the way back and struggle to fix it? Let me tell you: very.
I decided to get the curve instead of replacing my camera because I owe the IRS a shit load of money (BB Curve=half the price of the camera. My Pearl has been driving me so crazy that it made me actually miss my BB 7290 which was so outdated it looked like a damn garage door opener.
My only complaint about this transaction was that while placing the order on tmobile.com I was NEVER given the option to chose my shipping method. So now I must wait anxiously for it to get here. And there is NOTHING I hate more than waiting for something to come in the mail.
Safety first
Being out on your own without someone to protect you all the time can be a very scary thing, which is why I think everyone should invest in some sort of self defense products. I, myself, have a handful of knives and a stun gun from aaa-safetyfirst.com. My roommate has a very nifty key chain where you can flip a switch and it turns into pepper spray. I would like to get some because with pepper spray you don’t have to get close to the person to really get ‘em good, and with knives I worry about the fact that I will have to be within reach to really jab them. They do allow me to feel safe though, and if you’re ever in situations where you don’t feel safe having a similar product on hand really helps!
