Tuesday

I scored a great deal for Papa Johns, so tonight we ordered pizza and played Mario Kart after Lo went to bed. For some reason I was a total badass and couldn’t stop winning (:

Anyway… you can buy a $10 gift card voucher on Saveology for only $6, pair it with the free promo code you get when you register for Papa’s newsletter and get it super cheap! I paid $6.27 and got a large-3 topping and a medium cheese pizza.

We don’t order delivery too much anymore because it can get expensive (especially when I am in charge of ordering!), but I do get excited for it every now and then. If you want to use it later, the voucher doesn’t expire until 10/27/11 and is on sale for two more weeks. The promo code is valid until 12/31/11!

More ingredients, better pizza, Papa John’s

I swear sometimes I think I am psychic. On long days at work we do not take individual lunch breaks, we usually just order from one place as a group and I was crossing my fingers that someone would suggest ordering pizza. And sure enough, I get an email from someone that works here saying she was just going to order papa johns. This makes me oh so happy because there’s nothing I like to eat more than pizza. It’s oh so good, I never ever get tired of it. EVER.

Wine of the month

I definitely love to drink, but sometimes I find myself growing bored with drinking beer. I like to drink wine here and there and I think it would be great to be a part of the wine of the month club. I never want to just randomly try different wines for fear that I will hate it and wish I had spent my money on something else. When you are a part of goldmedia’s wine of the month club they deliver two outstanding wines to your door twice a month. Sounds like a great deal to me!

MMmm… fresh.

Mexican food is probably my favorite type of food. When we first started having Baja Fresh for lunch at work, I didn’t really like it because it wasn’t typical Mexican. Not drenched in cheese, the salsa is a bit different… I loathed it, actually. But after I tried the bean and cheese burrito I definitely changed my mind. Their chips and hot salsa are just amazing. It is definitely one of my favorite places to eat now! I wish they had more locations, like one closer to my house. :P

YMCA

I have been so beyond bored today it isn’t even funny. I don’t know what’s gotten into me. I know things will only worsen because Paul won’t be home until 9 tonight. He’s got 48 (only 44 since he started yesterday) hours of community service to complete before August 10th. Yeah, fun stuff. He goes in from 5-9 which means there isn’t anyone to cook me dinner. Good thing I still have that handy dandy sonic card les gave me for my birthday. Someone I work with bought me lunch today so I stuffed myself as much as I possibly could hoping I wouldn’t get hungry when I got home. Isn’t that pathetic? Even if there were someone to make food for me (other than spaghetti o’s) I’m not real sure there’s even anything to cook!

I think I will settle for a Tony’s pizza. Mmmm those are the best!

Drunken oreos

The other day Paul and I went grocery shopping. (GASP!) I admit I am having a hard time getting into the habit of it because I don’t really like to cook, nor do I know how to. This is something I know I need to work on, but let’s face it. When you’ve got someone to do it for you why should you care? That’s how I feel about it. Paul’s damn good at cooking, which only backs up my excuse.

Anyhow, I’m really excited because I just randomly remembered that I bought a package of oreos! Not just any oreos… but ones that are shaped especially for dunking, cause soggy is the only way to eat oeros!!

mmmm. I can’t wait!
