I just learned that my good friend that I met in college is going to be interning at Warner Brothers, just a street over from where I work. I’m so very excited because we will be able to take our lunch breaks together, hopefully making my day a little more fun. I could WALK over there if I chose to, not that I would chose to because.. ooh, I don’t know… it was a 106 degrees yesterday afternoon.

I have not yet seen the movie, but I don’t need to see a movie to believe in the “outlandish” idea of global warming. I believe the temperatures this summer are breaking records, I don’t ever recall it being this hot. One of these days it’ll be so hot that the planet will just burst out in flames and it will be hell on earth. We’re all going to die, I tell you… I nice roasty death.

I really want to give G4 credit for trying to pickup computer geeks and gamers, and the like… but I admit Attack Of The Show really freaks me out when they have those two girls giving sex or relationship advice. I’m not sure if it’s just sex advice or not, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say the relationship part is included but it’s still creepy, regardless. It’s almost like saying aw, you poor little nerds, let us help you.

I know I told myself that once I got my laptop, or got my powermac beefed up with ram I would take on my websites and try to improve them. So far as you can see I haven’t. Because I am lazy. And partly because… I am uninspired I guess. For some reason though the uninspired part seems to be a side effect of the laziness, I believe. I will get around to it eventually…

It’s 3 o’clock and I haven’t made it out of bed entirely. Pitiful, I know. I wasn’t even up all that late last night either, I’d say it was twelve-something when I fell asleep. I’m over the summer, it’s wearing me out. I’m sick of the heat and not feeling like getting out of the house. I am already excited for winter, oh how I love it. In December I will hate it, but right now I just can’t wait!

I finally shipped back the Treo 600. I had a whole 30 days to ship it back and of course I put it off until the last minute, forcing myself to pay top dollar to make sure it gets returned quickly enough. July 30th would make 30 days so I just barely made it! It should be arriving tomorrow around noon. I had to fill out a form with info on the exchange, and at the very end it states, “Upon receipt the item will be examined and the defect you list below must be confirmed. So please be very specific. If a defect is not confirmed it will be returned back to you at your expense.”

I am also just noticing that on the same form it says that a tracking number is required. I didn’t request an individual tracking number, but on my express mail receipt it has a barcode and number on it that I believe is the tracking number. When I try to track it, the website says there is no record of this item. I also mailed it about 2 hours ago so I’m hoping it’s just not in the system yet. I can already feel my blood beginning to boil. What stupid policies, if I don’t get a refund I think it just may be a cold day in hell.

Edit: I called and confirmed that the express mail did come with a tracking number. Thank you jesus!

When I was in high school my brother took me to get my ears pierced for a second time in each ear and once in my cartilage. Boy, I thought I was the SHIT (cos I am). Anyhow, I kept the ring in for quite some time, but I never could find the type of ring that I liked. Recently I went to Hot Topic (yak!) and got one of those “sensitive” ears earings, that is just a simple silver hoop with a hinge on it. I was originally putting it in my nostril, but I realized that my cartilage could very well be closing up and I would not want that to happen! So I stuck it in there, and I tell ya for the past couple of days it’s been pretty sore, almost like it was when I first got it pierced. It’s just a little confusing because I had no trouble getting the ring in, so it wasn’t closed up.. I just, don’t know. It hurts to sleep on that side of my head :X

It really bugs me that I got my hands on Adobe Creative Suite 3 premium, yet my computer doesn’t have enough ram to even think about installing it. I really, really, reeeeeallly need/want more ram. It feels like the lack of memory is holding my computer back and making it feel slow in general, if that’s even how it works. I know this computer should not feel so slow, the guy laughed at me when I bought it because I was getting it for graphic design and he said, “nothing like hitting the fly with a hammer.”
