Quitter

There is some hardcore snow coming down today. Hardcore for our area, anyway. We haven’t had much of any since I was a kid… it’s weird how an area can go from getting tons during the winter to pretty much none. It is sooo exciting when we actually get some though!

I’ve been thinking lately, with the cold and the rising prices and health factors that I really need to quit smoking, cold turkey, no electric cigarettes substitutes or gum or ANY thing like that.

I’m starving, off to find some lunch.

Playing it safe

My employer provides life insurance, however if yours doesn’t, you should definitely check out online life insurance. You never know when the worst could happen, especially considering if murphy’s law… if it can happen it will. It is important to leave your family in a stable situation despite the loss of someone important to the household.

I try not to think about what we would do if something were to ever happen to Vernon. I don’t know how I would go on, but I know I’d find a way to provide a happy life for our little one. It’s my job as a parent.

Research research research!

When we purchased our new Nissan Versa this year, I did looots of investigating for free insurance quotes. I don’t see how anyone could just pick a company and go with it, without knowing competitor’s pricing because I saw a HUGE difference in many of the quotes so much so that I couldn’t believe people would even purchase insurance from them.

We ended up going with progressive for 6 months and then switched over to State Farm where we got an even better deal.

Not going to happen.

Before I gave birth do our daughter, Vernon got into a pretty nasty wreck in his Dodge. Needless to say, it is still sitting in our driveway, wrecked, and taking up space. It’s one of those things where we keep saying, “Oh, we ought to have it towed away to get it out of our hair” but never actually happens. I’m beginning to wonder if we should just look into Mopar parts and maybe he can fix it himself.

That would be awesome.

Ramen is gross anyway.

Moving can be a really hard, tiring, and irritating process. Especially when your income is up in the air. Philadelphia jobs, or any job for that matter is really hard to come by these days. Sometimes I consider looking into getting a part-time job to supplement our income now that what seems like EVERYTHING has gone up in price, however I don’t even bother because there just isn’t much out there. It’s not like we can’t afford to pay our bills or we’re eating ramen every night for dinner, though… so really a part time job would pretty much suck because what I want most is to spend as much time with my daughter as I can. Screw those huge shopping trips we used to take every weekend.

Be careful when it comes to diet pills!!!

I have never had to resort to diet pills in my short time on this earth, so I’m really unfamiliar with side effects of betastax, however I would definitely make sure I know everything about a pill that I am going to put into my body, ESPECIALLY when it comes to side effects that could be detrimental to my health. Your mail motivation to lose weight, in my opinion, should be to be healthy and putting some random medication in your body.

Clean and clear

I went to school with a girl who had terrible, I mean TERRIBLE acne. By the time we made it to high school, her face was horribly scarred from it. If I were her I would definitely look into acne scar removal. I can’t imagine the strife that comes along with having such bad acne, but to have it scar your face even after it’s gone is unimaginable. I am blessed to have great genes that keep my face clear a majority of the time.
