Just another thing for Shawn to do

One thing I would LOVE to have in our bedroom is a ceiling fan. Growing up with my grandfather, I had a ceiling fan in my bedroom that stayed on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week even in the winter time. I love to have air circulating through the room. I would even love to have one in the living room but there is no overhead light fixture in there for some reason.

I’m definitely going to look into having Shawn put one up for us. I believe it would be fairly easy so long as the connections and hookups already exist.

It makes me feel a little sick

My maternity leave is very quickly coming to an end. It’s soo depressing to think that before I know it, I’ll be staring at inventory software all day. My time off has gone from what feels like a “leave” to “a very short amount of time off.”

It is so frightening because when I sit back and think about it, I realize already my baby is growing up. She will be two months old when I go back to work. How is that possible? How is time going by so fast?

I know it’s not just me. Today when I took Layla to her doctor appointment, even the nurse was complaining that already August is almost over.

Effective Advertising

I have been spending my days at home instead of going to the office to work for nearly 3 months now. I almost always have a TV running in the background because I like the background noise, and let’s face it, I’m a loser who likes to watch TV.

I’ve definitely seen my fair share of commercials advertising medical assistant training schools, I guess they’re trying to target people who sit on their ass doing nothing at home all day, thinking the person watching will be all *light bulb*, “I KNOW! I’ll GO TO SCHOOL TO BE A MEDICAL ASSISTANT!!”

I’m not even sure what a medical assistant does, but I won’t lie, I’ve considered it.
