Last weekend Shawn and I went to go visit my grandfather. We spent some time sitting by his pool, I swear his backyard is like being on vacation. It is so gorgeous. He asked if we had planted any flowers this year, and when we told him yes, two rose bushes, he told us we needed to get knock out roses because they bloom all year and get really tall.

I wish we had known this before buying our measley $3 rose bushes from Big Lots. I won’t lie I was really excited to get a bloom already, but I was equally crushed when it was dead the next day.
