Swing in style

With summer coming to a close and the weather cooling down, it will be much more enjoyable to spend our evenings outside in the backyard. I have a fairly large yard that would be perfect for a hammock or hammock chair. Garden Fun’s website has lots of hammock chairs in gorgeous fabric prints. They also have beautiful hammocks that I may consider purchasing after I talk my boyfriend into agreeing to hang it up once it arrives!

Do your research!

Have you ever considered getting a colon cleanse? I’ve considered it a time or two but often I wonder just exactly how beneficial it may be. I had some roommates that were going to try flushing their systems, but it didn’t prove to be successful. However, I’m not sure if they even followed the directions properly. Reading up on your product is extremely important, you want to make sure you’re doing more good than harm!

Baby shopping made easy

Giving unique baby gifts is important to any expecting parent, it shows that you put forth effort to find just the right gift for baby to be. Anyone can walk into a large retailer and find something at the last moment.

From costumes to gift baskets I recommend browsing the internet for sites like uniquebabygifts.com to find adorable and affordable gifts for little ones on the way!

Indoor lighting

One thing my house really lacks is pretty lighting fixtures. Every room has the same, basic, bland fixture that you could probably find in your local home improvement store at a very inexpensive price. I’m not extremely unhappy with them considering they’re lights and they get the job done, but sometimes I think more stylish, indoor lighting might spruce the place up.

Lightingshowplace.com is the leading online distributor of maxim lighting. There you can find many gorgeous chandeliers and lamps that are elegant and high quality.

Do they really work?

Shawn and I have been considering purchasing a certain acne medication for a while, but we’re just not sure how good of an investment would be, neither of us really have acne. We only get breakouts here and there. The only real problem with acne I have is from letting my hair fall on my back in the shower when it has conditioner in it, I notice it tends to break out more. It’s really irritating, but most products come across as being mostly for your face.

the vacant puppy bed

Considering we have three dogs and a cat, pet beds are pretty necessary. Bubba and Lola already have one, so I recently bought a very nice one for Pickles, yet he doesn’t quite understand that he is SUPPOSED to sleep on it. Half the time I have to pick him up and put him on it, and the other half Lola Bean and Duker are sleeping on it instead. At this point I don’t really care who sleeps on it, so long as it’s getting some sleeping action.

Last week I got the bright idea to stick it under my computer desk (I usually sit Indian-style in my chair) and I’ve noticed that the dogs seem to like it more now that it’s there. It’s like a little cave, right underneath momma!

Office orders

My duties at work vary from mangaging our company website to ordering office supplies. Usually I send out an email asking any one if they need any supplies such as pens, notepads, or paperclips. Once I have a list long enough, I head over to Office Depot’s website and usually within two business days our order has been delivered.

I rarely to never need anything myself, so ordering office supplies is nothing exciting. It’s crazy how quickly a few items can add up in price though, considering printer ink costs an arm and a leg.
