Collect a debt

As embarassing as it is, I have definitely had my fair share of run-ins with a commercial collection agency. While I am doing sooo much better (wouldn’t think of getting myself into a situation like this these days!) I think the problem was just that I really didn’t care – nor did I even think about the consequences of writing bad checks. I wrote a lot of bad checks when I was young, and most of the time on purpose. I know people who still do this, but there are plenty of other reasons why they’re obviously not getting their life together anytime soon.

Poor guy.

I just don’t get it

I don’t really like sports much, I never have really. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense because my mother was a really great athlete and it seems like I am just the opposite. If someone offered me Bears tickets I believe I would just laugh in their face and say, “Huh? What’s that?” I just don’t have the attention span for it, and I also really have no idea what is ever going on during the game, or any game for that matter.

you in eye tea why

I mentioned earlier that I’ve been moving furniture and things around the house to make room for my new roomate. Yes, that’s right, a roomate. I swore off them entirely after I moved in with Satan and his demon spawn, but this isn’t just any roomate. It’s Shmandapants! After some slight complication over the weekend involving her current living situation and showed up saying she’d had a bad day, and I told her welcome home. I am very confident that this can work because in both instances where my roomates turned to shit it was all Paul’s fault. Yes, I’m pointing the finger at him.

I’m gonna show you everything

I would really like to invest in some landscape lighting. I have a fairly large yard (3/4′s of an acre) that has yet to have anything done to it, and I think lights would do just the trick. There’s so much that I’d love to do to my house because for the most part, the inside is done. I need to get more art and decorations, and maybe straighten up a bit but there are only 2 rooms in the house that still need paint. One of those rooms is a very small bathroom and the other is full of extraneous furniture that couldn’t fit elsewhere. I’m working on getting the furniture out…. woohoo!

Weather

It’s rainging a lot today, this is probably the most rain we’ve had in months. I like the rain usually, and I guess if it were going to rain today would be the day since I’m stuck working well into the night. It’s always harder to make it through the day when it’s a really beautiful day out. Generally makes me want to jump out the window.

Judging by the forecast it looks like we’ll be getting even more rain/storms through the week. Just great, my grass is going to be so long and I’m going to have to shell out another $40 to have it cut.

I’m No Gambler

I’ve never been to Branson Missouri before. There are a lot of places that I’ve never been that I need to go. I wish I could win the lottery, quit my job… and just have fun by traveling and spending money. If only life could be that easy! I don’t think I’d ever win the lottery though, but I guess it increases the odds if I actually PLAY, but honestly I can see myself wasting a bunch of money trying to play a game that I will never win.
