Quick and easy custom signs

Have you ever seen those magnetic signs people often put on their car to advertise a company or product? I’ve always thought they were really neat and wondered where you can get one.

I found buildasign.com where you can get custom banners, car magenets, real estate signs, parking, political, or plywood signs for low prices! It is easy, convienent, and there is plenty of variety at buildasign.com.

If you are in need of custom signs I definitely recommend this site!

we don’t need no water

I can’t believe what I’ve been hearing about the fires in San Diego. I can’t imagine what I would even think about doing if something like this happened to me. A man that works for us out there has had to pack up his wife, children, and dogs to evacuate. I wouldn’t even know where to start. The thought makes me feel like I need an SUV because I don’t know how many of my precious belongings would even fit in my beetle.

I am very tired, and very ready for the day to be overwith. Unfortunately I’ve still got a long ways to go.

LED Holiday Lights

If you are looking to make your Christmas a little more energy efficient this year, you should invest in LED Christmas lights. LED holiday lights are a far better investment than standard lights, they last for over 50 thousand hours! They are made of a durable epoxy plastic and are just about indestructible. The lights give off far less heat than incandescent lights, making them safer as well.

If you really, really get into decorating your home for Christmas, LED Xmas lights are the way to go. LED lights allow for end-to-end connection, meaning you can connect up to 125 strings of lights which equals a half mile of lights! All on ONE plug! If that is not enough there are also plenty of accessories to aid in your decorating, such as splitters and extenders… decorating this Christmas couldn’t get any easier!

Feeling better

My first week back at work last week wasn’t a great one because before my final vacation weekend was even over I was feeling sick. My throat ached, my body ached, I was tired and constantly hacking up a lung.

This week I am feeling much better though. No more coughing, my throat is fine… overall I feel great. I still feel mucus and other yucky stuff in my lungs (to much info?) but other than that there is no sign of sick here!

Boogie Crocker

I actually did some cooking over the weekend, and while I’ve had nothing but bad experiences when trying to work in the kitchen I’ll admit I made some pretty tastey foods lately.

First I made this chicken casserole recipe that I found on a cooking web site. It’s not the campbells one that I pasted below but it was soooo good. I was really extremely impressed with myself. Yesterday I made a beef stew in my crockpot that was also fairly tastey, then I made a broccoli cheese casserole (my favorite!) and pumpkin pie gems. I’m not sure if they turned out right because the pie crust was a little weird, but I thought they were good. Perhaps some market research will explain that.

tool time

I really need to come up with a good place for my tool storage. I don’t have a garage – it got converted into a den, which is better than a garage in my opinion. I think I need a shed, or something small. I don’t have heaps of tools or anything, but I like for all of my belongings to have a place. And not just any place – one that makes sense!

I’m always hurting myself

Last night while I was moving furniture, my thumb got stuck inbetween the love seat and the door frame. It hurt so bad I had to put the love seat on hold and do one of those dances where you try to force the pain out of your body by doing something stupid because it hurts so bad.

My thumb hasn’t started to turn colors, but I can see a mark on the nail where it got squashed, and even today it still really hurts. I hope something nasty doesn’t happen – like my thumbnail fall off. That would just be gross, and painful. Why am I such a clutz?
