I love to visit North Carolina. I don’t know if it’s due to the emotional attachment, or if it’s actually a great state. Coming from someone who doesn’t get out of town much, I don’t know if it means a whole lot…. but I’ve been to North Carolina several times and it has never let me down.

I’ve never really been up north, but I have been out West and out of the two areas I must say that I love the South over anywhere I’ve ever been. I don’t know if it’s the sense of culture or if it’s just because the South is home… but Raleigh, NC is the place to go if you are looking to get away in the South for reasonable prices. There is also plenty to on a FREE Raleigh Getaway for fall. I would love to visit the NC Shakespeare Festival. My ex had a friend who would often perform in shows that were put on there… Raleigh is truly the hidden treasure of the South!
