Has anyone else heard about the tainted water? The other day I was at work, and one of my coworkers asked me to taste her bottled water because it tasted funny. I had already decided a different bottle from the same batch of water tasted funny a few days prior, I just didn’t say anything. I tasted her water and sure enough it was gross.

A few days later I was at the gas station buying most likely beer, cigarettes, and a starbucks drink when I noticed that the newspaper mentioned that the extreme heat was fucking with our water supply and making it, especially tap water, super funky. I don’t know if that had anything to do with the nasty bottled water that we were drinking but man, that shit is creepy.

term insurance would be a good idea if you think you might die sometime soon. I’m not really sure how that would work… If you put all that money in but your term runs out, then what happens? Are you just out that much money?

Insurance is important but I don’t know about term insurance. What are your thoughts? Am I totally missing something… because it seems like it.

After driving on a suspended license for oh, I don’t know, like a year, I’ve finally got a perfectly valid license and I tell you it took a WEIGHT OFF MY SHOULDERS to get that thing fixed. I’m really consdering in looking at radar detectors so that I can make sure to avoid the coppers like the plague. I’m a magnet for speeding tickets and how I managed to keep my driving together while my license was suspended, I’ll never know.

The other day I got a new fish tank from my cousin Lesley. I can’t remember if it’s 30 gallons or 35 but I’m super excited about it. I got it on Tuesday and we crammed it into the back of my little beetle… When I got home Paul and I cleaned it out with a hose in the front yard.. and then set it up.

Yesterdays work entailed going to petsmart and spending a hundred thousand dollars on aquarium supplies… I ended up with not even enough. I’m thinking about checking ebay to find some inexpensive aquarium plants because the ones at petsmart, and even the ones at walmart cost an arm and a leg. I also need to get a nice pretty background for it as well… it looks pretty dull right now, specially consdering I could afford all of like 3 plants. hahaha. I’m pitiful, but my goldfish will be happy!

I really like visiting North Carolina, even if some of the memories attached to it are bad ones. Wilmington NC real estate seems like a good idea, however I think after recent events I may stay as far away from NC as theoretically possible considering I live in Tennessee… so I’ll never be all that far.

Not that I’m trying to speak negatively about one little state just because of the encounters I’ve had with it, but is it just me or are there a lot of druggies in North Carolina? Perhaps it was just the one I was (unfortunately) connected to that knew a million others… but it’s just the impression that I get…. *breaks out into the Mighty Mighty Bosstones* Boy, were they annoying.

Computers have really taken over the world these days. With wares such as financial consolidation software it seems like there’s not a whole lot you can’t do on a computer. I don’t know how I ever got by without one, considering that my life today really revolves around the internet.. and photoshop. Ah.. photoshop. Will you marry me?
