Laptop

Excitment is in the air! I am so happy to announce that I’ve decided which laptop I’d like to buy… :) I’m going to get the beautiful 2.16 ghz Apple Macbook (in black) with 2 gigs of ram… wooohooo. I am very anxious because we all know I love my electronics. I should have it within my possession in about two weeks or so I’d say… but I am THRILLED. I’ve had 3 different laptops in the past year so I hope this one is the one I will want to keep, cause it’s gonna cost a pretty penny!

Come on, Apple! Don’t fail me now :)

Still talking about that vacation

I’ve been really aching to take a vacation here lately. My friends recently came to visit me from Florida and it’s been really nice. I’ve enjoyed being able to see them and hang out so much that it’s got me thinking about Orlando villas. When I do actually get the chance to take my much needed vacation from work, I’m thinking Florida will be the place. It would also be great for a reunion resort. There’s nothing about the beach that I don’t enjoy.

Windsorpalmsflorida.com is a great site for looking into your vacation. The site even includes Disney news for you to keep up with so that you can plan your reunion or getaway around all the right events. Check it out!

bye bye razr

After I got my blackberry and fell in love, I’ve really had no use for my razr, and I don’t see myself needing it at all. As sad as it is, I’m selling it to my brother, making this his THIRTY FIFTH phone. I hate to contribute to such a horrible cycle, but I’d rather get something out of the phone than just have it sit around and collect dust.

I went ahead and saved all my photos to my computer when I found a two photos from my birthday that I didn’t realize I had:

Me and Les singing karaoke. You can’t really see much, but it still made me laugh to find…

Me and my pollie ollie!!!! He looks sort of goofy here but I sure look cute.

;)

Gothic Dating

There are many goth clubs here in Nashville that are full of goth guys and girls. I’ve had a few goth friends in my time who were interested in goth dating. Had I known sooner, I would have recommened gothscene.com to them very long ago! Too bad we aren’t friends anymore. You can meet 1000′s of gothic guys in your area on this website for free! With that many to choose from, I doubt anyone would have a hard time meeting his or her soul mate. Er… if they believe in that whole “soul” thing. I admit I don’t know much about the subculture, and there are definitely reasons for that.

Go paypal, go!

So after getting three debit cards for my paypal account that didn’t work, I finally got my fourth in the mail today and what do you know IT WORKED! I am so excited! Of course this was AFTER I just spent all the rest of my PPP earnings on the el gatvo eyetv hybrid, but I have no regrets because I’ve been wanting something to watch TV on my computer for a long while now. I’m very excited to get back on the ball with my payperposting. I may even do some much needed work to the site including a new layout and some other things, after I take care of Lesley’s new layout. This site really needs more to offer!

earraaaaaangs

When I was in high school my brother took me to get my ears pierced for a second time in each ear and once in my cartilage. Boy, I thought I was the SHIT (cos I am). Anyhow, I kept the ring in for quite some time, but I never could find the type of ring that I liked. Recently I went to Hot Topic (yak!) and got one of those “sensitive” ears earings, that is just a simple silver hoop with a hinge on it. I was originally putting it in my nostril, but I realized that my cartilage could very well be closing up and I would not want that to happen! So I stuck it in there, and I tell ya for the past couple of days it’s been pretty sore, almost like it was when I first got it pierced. It’s just a little confusing because I had no trouble getting the ring in, so it wasn’t closed up.. I just, don’t know. It hurts to sleep on that side of my head :X

Finding a credit card

I currently have a couple of credit cards to my name, one is a general mastercard and the other is a Kohl’s card. I don’t know what Kohl’s was thinking giving me a credit card because clothes are the NUMBER ONE thing I like to indulge in. I have so many clothes that when I “clean out my closet” I end up giving away tons of clothes that are practically brand new.

I’ve been thinking about looking into getting a new card with a company that offers balance transfers. After doing some reading I discovered that they don’t exactly have the best customer service, and if something were to happen, heaven forbid, I’d hate to have to deal with uncooperative representatives.

I use my credit card mostly for paying bills online. The credit line isn’t too high so it’s easy for me to pay it off entirely each month and still leave cash from my paycheck to get by on.

If you’re interested check out this site where you can compare credit cards so you can hopefully find the one that is right for you!
