Viva la casa!

I really love bamboo blinds. Many rooms in my house have jade bamboo looking blinds but I’m not sure that they’re really bamboo. Even at Wal-mart they were pretty expensive, but well worth it cos they look awesome! I also think those wooden paneled ones are neat as well. Expensive, but you get what you pay for!

I really hated the blinds at the apartment. They broke and got caught and were an all around pain in my bum. Boy am I glad to be out of that place!!

Gary Potter

I came up with this genius idea the other day to hook the cable up to Kristen’s computer monitor, which is actually a really nice flat panel TV that can work as both. As you may or may not know I’ve been aching to have a working tv in my computer room. For some reason it only picks up basic cable (channel 1-23 or something like that).

What I’m just now realizing though, is that before Dizzle and Jaycups TV broke I had another TV in here (which they’re using now) and it picked up all the normal cable channels.

What the hell?

I love bed

If I ever have kids I think it will be fun to shop for kids bedding. I still don’t know when I want children, but I guess it will happen at some point or another.

I like shopping for bedclothes in general, but kids bedding is generally so cute and colorful. Everyone needs some color in their lives, especially the wonderful little wee ones!

I don’t remember having any cutesy sort of bed sheets when I was little. I’m sure I’ll go all out on my kids bedrooms. My home already looks like a funhouse :P

Blackberry 7290

Well, because my treo was a total piece of crap and the seller offers an exchange program, I’ve ordered the blackberry 7290. According to ups.com & the provided tracking number it will get here tomorrow, right in time for my BIRTHDAY. :) I guess it is a present to myself, along with a hundred other things I had planned to buy at some point as a “birthday present.”

I got the chance to play with Lesley’s blackberry the other day and it’s got me super excited! The thing is sweet!!!

Bubsy the Boogermobile

Ggrowing up my brother had a good friend who’s dad was a musician and traveled to Branson Missouri an awful lot (if I remember correctly…) I’m not sure why or what he did there, but this friend of my brother’s had the coolest car EVER. It was an old Beetle (not sure of the year) and it was purple. I think that car is responsible for my deep love of Volkswagen Beetles cos it’s the first memory I have of the cars.

I eventually got my own beetle, it was a ’72 super beetle and it was my baby. I passed my brother’s friend in it once, it was cool. I miss that car.

Drunken oreos

The other day Paul and I went grocery shopping. (GASP!) I admit I am having a hard time getting into the habit of it because I don’t really like to cook, nor do I know how to. This is something I know I need to work on, but let’s face it. When you’ve got someone to do it for you why should you care? That’s how I feel about it. Paul’s damn good at cooking, which only backs up my excuse.

Anyhow, I’m really excited because I just randomly remembered that I bought a package of oreos! Not just any oreos… but ones that are shaped especially for dunking, cause soggy is the only way to eat oeros!!

mmmm. I can’t wait!

Max the real estate agent

I think it would be cool to really get into real estate. Paul’s parents have a lot of properties (I think? haaa), and it seems like it would be a really fun thing to do. I’m sure it would be a major pain though, having to deal with the upkeep of your etate and all, but I bet it’s way worth it.

When I was younger my grandfather had a good friend who owned tons of houses and made tons of money off it, I’m sure. That’s the way to do it, I tell ya. Own a bunch of stuff and get rich off it. His houses were NICE too, he rented them out to folks. He was a nice guy. I remember his dog like it was yesterday. A little white thing, that eventually turned into a big white thing… his name was Max. He was sooo cute! I can’t remember what type of dog he was though, American Eskimo?

Oh, I don’t know!
