My insides hurt

I spent most of yesterday coughing. Coughing every .3 seconds just about, and now my insides are totally sore and screwed up and I hurt.

Not enough to say home though! Everyone seemed surprised to see me come in today after the hacking and coughing I did yesterday, which I admit makes me wish I stayed home. Believe it or not my work ethic is actually pretty good. I’m not really sure how that happened because in general I am a pretty lazy person. My grandfather used to tell me I had lazy blood. I know that at the time he was making fun of me, but I believe it!!

I’m hoping today is an easy day that flies by without me even noticing. But so far, I am noticing, it is not.

Case of the Mondays

I’ve seen Monday come and go, all while sitting at my desk. I really love my job but I really hate Mondays. This is something you will probably hear me bitch about the entire time I am employed here, which hopefully is forever.

I came in at 11 and it is now 10. This is not abnormal for a Monday as we usually get done at around 10:30-11 pm. The only horrific, blogworthy thing about tonight is that it’s going on 10 o’clock and I get the strange feeling that we are far from done. I haven’t even gotten the news yet. I usually get it at 8 pm!
