R. Kelly loses his mind

“My greatest competition is, well, me . . . I’m the Ali of today. I’m the Marvin Gaye of today. I’m the Bob Marley of today. I’m the Martin Luther King, or all the other greats that have come before us. And a lot of people are starting to realize that now.”

Could someone please shed some light on the drugs that R. Kelly is doing? I think I want to try them.

Red fish blue fish

When I moved into the house I had planned to get a pretty large fish tank.. but I ended up with so much furniture it got pushed a side because at this point there isn’t really any room. The other day I was talking to my grandfather and when he asked what I was doing I told him that I was working on my fish tank. He informs me that he doesn’t feel like keeping up with his anymore so I can have it. Woot! Not exactly a huge one like I’d planned, but hey this works too. Most importantly, it fits!

Yes for more fish!

I’m not for sure what sort of fish I want to occupy this tank. Probably goldfish because I know I can keep them alive. My goldfish are going on 4 years old! Quite an accomplishment considering everything I touch turns to shit!

It’s getting quite pitiful.

YES FOR NEW SUNGLASSES

This is an image of me in my new sunglasses taken soley for the purpose of showcasing my new sunglasses and not trying to look cute while looking stupid at the same time because seriously who does that? Thanks to myspace I do believe that may be one of my pet peeves. People modeling in their sunglasses indoors. Two words: spare me.

Very well said

No one cares about people anymore. No one cares about their neighbors, no one cares about the fact that everyone in this world is living under the same sky, we see the same moon, the same stars, we breathe the same oxygen and most importantly we are all just trying to fucking survive while we are here on this Earth, no one cares about any of that anymore.

Lost keys… continued

Well, for the most part the issue with my old apartments is straightened out, aside from the fact that I owe them $1,617.

What have I learned?

1. Don’t be lazy and always put everything in writing.

When I was still going to school, I was working a job where Amanda and I were living in a group home for 2 weeks out of each month, basically taking care of 8 mentally handicapped adults. Boy, was that interesting. We had to take a handful of classes on things that I don’t even remember anymore, considering I can’t think of any of the classes we took. One thing I do remember learning, though was that if you didn’t WRITE IT DOWN, it didn’t happen. When it boils down to it, signing papers and putting things in writing will save your ass, and your wallet, too.

2. If you have any money to your name, people will find a way to make you spend it.

I’ve been blessed with this problem. Someone always has their damn hand out. It’s getting old, you people are going to make me go broke.

So what’s the deal with the lost keys? A week after I moved into my house, we moved into a new office at work. This was well over a month ago, and for some reason my boss never asked for the keys back. Yesterday he sent us an email saying he needed to have our keys back by noon. I checked my keyring and, of course, they are not there. I freaked out promptly. Have I lost more keys? Is this going to be a big deal to my boss?

I worked late last night so when I got home I frantically searched the house for the keys. How could I have lost more keys? Come on Kelley, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? I never found them.

Turns out I’d given them back already. Yeah, I’m really stupid…

Binoculars from Eagle Optics

If you are in the market for binoculars, I suggest you check out Eagle Optics. Located in Wisconsin, they have been selling quality optics for as long as I have been alive (’86).

Bird watching is something I know many people love to do, including my grandfather. Bird watching binoculars from Eagle Optics have many options for you to chose from varying on price, size, magnification, and any other specifications you might need.

The site offers many great features including, google checkout payments, customer service, an excellent selection, as well as free financing on orders over $200.

New house

I know it’s been over a month since I’ve moved in and I had really planned to take photos of every room as it was completed. We painted almost the whole house, bought tons of new furniture… the works.

Unfortunately for some reason I just haven’t remembered to go through the house with my camera when it is clean. Hopefully I will soon… I’ll even give them their own set on flickr. It’ll be saussy :)

Thank God for credit

I got my first credit card while I was still in college, and proceeded to get two more, promptly. I admit at the time it may have not been such a good idea. I eventually maxed them out pretty bad, paid them entirely off, and said “no more credit cards for me!”

Then of course about two months ago I got the itch and started applying again. I usually look online at different credit card companies. However, I found a website that lists 0% credit cards and also cards that have 0% balance transfers as well as.

I think I will have to stick in my safety zone and keep my credit card amount to 1 at the time being. I admit it is extremely tempting not to get another, but I know from past experiences that it is easy to get all screwed up.
